Clayhouse

Reimagining childhood by design

Clayhouse are a interior design brand who specialise in creating premium designs for baby rooms. The Goal: As they was a new brand, they wanted to create a visual identity for themselves which would be translated to their online asset, Website and physical items. They wanted to avoid the bright colours and boldness often associated with other brands working with children, opting for a more sophisticated look to appeal to the parents.
Branding: The final outcome of the branding created a icon and word mark which could be used for across different media in different sizes. The icon mark using a letter C to be recognisable to the brand name while also incorporating a droplet. The fonts and colours chosen help give the elevated, sophisticated feeling, targeting the parents of the children opposed to the children, making them stand out compared to their competitors.
Website: Along with the branding, I designed a website which took full use of the branding, further solidifying the brand identity. The website provided the user information about the business and easily navigated them into registering interest and making contact with the brand. Responsiveness was key, so I made sure that the website scaled on every device.
