Studio Dentistico Marini-Valentini is a multidisciplinary dental practice in the centre of Milan with more than 35 years behind it. The brief was a website that makes booking the obvious next step, tells the treatment story in plain Italian, and puts the practice's experience where patients actually look.
The Challenge
Choosing a dentist is a trust decision, and it is usually made quickly on a phone. The page had to answer three questions almost immediately: is this practice experienced, what do they treat, and how do I book, all without reading like a medical brochure.
My Role
UX structure and information architecture, visual design in Figma, Italian content hierarchy, and the front-end build in Next.js.
Approach
Booking as the primary action: Prenota ora and Chiamaci sit side by side in the hero and follow the visitor down the page.
Proof directly under the hero: 35+ years of practice, 12,000+ patients treated and a 300 sqm clinic, stated as facts rather than claims.
Treatment storytelling: each discipline explains what it is, who it is for and what to expect, instead of listing clinical terms.
Practical detail treated as content, not footer text: the Milan address, directions and how to reach the studio are one tap from the hero.
A calm deep-blue palette with a serif display face, positioning the studio as a private practice rather than a clinic chain.
Built in Next.js for fast mobile loads, with page structure and metadata set up for local search in Milan.
Tools
Figma, Next.js
Outcome
A site that reads as reassuring rather than transactional, and gives a 35-year-old practice an online booking path as direct as its phone line.
