The name of the Project is called Musicreel. Some years back, I discovered a problem in my local community here in Nigeria.

The problem was with music artists not being able to afford payment to upload their songs on big streaming platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and the rest.

These artists wanted to be able to upload their songs, Know how many people viewed, streamed, downloaded, and even commented on their songs. The best platform for this then was these Big Platforms as I mentioned earlier but the problem was that they could not afford it. So I decided to build a platform that will give them all the features they craved (but could not afford) for a cheaper amount.

So that is what musicreel is all about. It's a platform that helps music artists share their songs with the world while giving back the artists' feedback to help them know how many people viewed, downloaded, streamed, and commented on their songs. I launched the MVP in 2020 and rolled out updates frequently, currently released the most recent updates last month ( January 2023).

One of the features I released last month was a feature that allows admins to signup and own an account. These admins are able to upload songs and earn from the money the artists paid.

The goal of this feature is to help others earn too and help the platform scale because having more admins who will upload their songs also means more marketing and more income. I enjoyed working on the project because deep down, I knew I was providing value and putting smiles on the faces of these artists. Musicreel is the first of its kind in my state here in Nigeria and my goal is that it becomes the best in Nigeria. here is the link to the project: https://musicreel.com.ng
