Disney's Haunted Mansion Holiday Illustration

The Haunted Mansion we all know and love holiday version. I really enjoyed creating this piece. The first element I want to point out is the hill on which the carriages are being pulled through to the mansion itself. I used the hill shown in Nightmare before Christmas! I feel the main challenge of this project was incorporating Christmas and Halloween themes together. Of course we have the bats, the pumpkins with snow and Santa hats on them, Christmas decor, and we cannot forget Sally, as Nightmare before Christmas plays a major factor on this piece. The color palette also shows a gloomy aesthetic but still has some vibrancy. You can see the carriage in the back has a lower opacity. I did that on purpose to represent that the closer you get to the Haunted Mansion the more ghostly you become. And finally, the typography, which was my favorite part to create. I hope you love this piece as much as I do!
