This video was created in collaboration with Silvia Baldo for a European video contest promoted by ProCarton, winning the 1st prize. The brief was to create a video that could suit social medias engagement (2 minutes max) that would catch the new generation eyes and explain in a fun and light way the benefit of carton and paper packaging.

In our reality, the right words can speak really loud, but the eyes always catch what words cannot translate. For this reason, when it comes to make someone really understand what you mean, the most powerful way to do it is to share your perspective with them. That is why we imagined the main source of awareness as an object that can be used by one person at a time, but that draws your score from what surrounds you. This fundamental mechanism of the game brings the interaction between the individual and the surrounding to a higher level, highlighting the fact that the individual actions are directly sustained by a shared vision. ‘Vision’ is a word that recalls the sense of sight but it is not just about the eyes. Your vision is also about your thoughts and your ethic; it is what merges all senses and shapes your choices.

For this project, we started from the idea that people often do not take the ecological and environmental issues as serious as they should, almost talking about it as a game or something to play with. We decided to evolve this idea to a higher level, and use it to analyse the whole topic with a light and fun twist; after reflecting about what imagery of 'game' would fit the best with the concept, we realized that the VR look and vision could help us even more making young generations reconnect to the dialectic between the action you do in your life and the consequences they have in the life of others, which usually you cannot see.
