Gift Social Gifting App UX Design

Gift is a social gifting mobile application designed to make gift-giving more collaborative, transparent, and enjoyable. The platform enables users to create personalized wishlists, connect with friends, contribute toward shared gifts, and manage gifting occasions through a seamless digital experience. By combining social networking with modern commerce, Gift simplifies group gifting while strengthening meaningful connections.

The objective was to design a user-centered mobile experience that simplifies the entire gifting journey—from discovering friends and managing wishlists to contributing toward gifts and tracking purchases. The product aimed to increase user engagement, encourage collaborative gifting, and provide an intuitive experience that users could navigate with ease.

Designing a social gifting platform required balancing multiple user journeys within a simple interface. The primary challenge was organizing features such as wishlists, friend management, gift contributions, wallet interactions, and purchase tracking without overwhelming users. Building trust during financial interactions while maintaining a consistent, accessible, and engaging experience across the application was also a key design consideration.

A clean, user-focused design system was developed to streamline every step of the gifting process. Clear navigation, intuitive information hierarchy, and reusable UI components improved usability while reducing cognitive load. The experience was enhanced with transparent contribution tracking, simplified payment flows, and visually engaging gift progress indicators, creating a seamless and enjoyable user journey.

The final design delivers a modern, scalable mobile experience that simplifies collaborative gifting and encourages user engagement.
