Branding, Site Creation, and Apparel Design (BXC, F/2021)

Zaria Gunn

As the art director and apparel designer, I created a brand that merged the worlds of fitness and spirituality. The goal was to create a line of activewear that would not only make individuals look and feel their best but also inspire them to connect with their bodies and minds. Our aim was to create a line of clothing that represented the modern Christian that was both mindful and active. Through experimenting with different fabrics and fits, I arrived at a solution that could support individuals during their active and spiritual practices. I learned that creating clothing that aligned with an individual's values and beliefs could be incredibly powerful. For the next project, I would focus more on the sustainability aspect of clothing production.
My goal was to create a brand identity across social media and their website that would reflect the team's values and mission. I designed the website to be user-friendly and visually striking, with an emphasis on highlighting the organization's work and message. Additionally, I designed a line of apparel that aligned with the organization's message and values. Through this project, I learned how to use my art direction skills across various mediums to create a cohesive brand image. If I were to do this project again, I would focus on incorporating more diverse voices and perspectives into the design process.

As the Art Director for BodiesXChrist, my goal was to create a unique fashion line that celebrates Christianity, fitness, and empowerment.
