Mutabak Karak Framer Website

I designed and built a full Framer website for Mutabak Karak — a Canadian business specializing in freshly made food and sips. The brand came with comprehensive, detailed guidelines — bold colors, vibrant energy, and a personality that demands attention. My role was to take that identity and translate it into a digital experience that feels just as lively and fun as the brand itself.

The goal was simple: showcase their wide variety of dishes in a way that feels exciting, not overwhelming. Bold, playful animations were added throughout — particularly on food imagery — to bring the dishes to life and reinforce that vibrant, energetic feel. The challenge was maintaining that energy without letting the site feel sloppy or cluttered — a careful balance of color, motion, and whitespace.

The menu system was designed with both desktop and mobile users in mind. On desktop, a category panel sits to the left with the full product grid on the right — allowing users to instantly jump to the section they want. On mobile, the experience adapts with a category scroll bar at the bottom, giving users the flexibility to browse by category or scroll naturally. The result is intuitive, responsive, and tailored to how people actually use their devices.

The site launched successfully within a month and a half timeline, and the client was thrilled with the final result — a bold, vibrant digital home that perfectly captures the spirit of their brand.
