The winter of 2023 in Ukraine was extremely hard and cold. Houses across the country were without electricity, heating and water supply for days.

As the biting cold took its toll on expectant mothers, 
#Giving Tuesday and Bekind teamed up to launch 
a heartwarming initiative. Together, they handpicked 
500 courageous moms-to-be who were bearing the brunt
of a ruthless Russian invasion, and set out on a mission 
to gather funds for warm, essential packages to keep their precious little ones cozy and snug.

Ukrainians have been donating on a daily basis for a year now, and raising funds in conditions of war, inflation and rising unemployment is becoming more and more difficult. Therefore, it was decided to make this project more personalized and educational.

The goal was to allow benefactors to make a meaningful impact and discover the fascinating stories of Ukraine's past simultaniously.

This website goes beyond simply receiving donations. 
With each donation, users can select a specific historical region and delve into its captivating past. But that's not all — they can also read the personal stories and view touching photos of the courageous moms who will directly benefit from their contribution. After the donation, everyone who joined received a complete guide to the history of Ukraine by e-mail.

The financial goal was surpassed.
