Objective:
The goal of this project was to design a complete Brand Kit for a fictional coffee shop—Sage Coffee Shop—to visualize how branding gives a business a unique identity and emotional connection with its audience.
📖 Project Context
Sage Coffee Shop is a conceptual brand built to invite people into a mindful coffee experience—encouraging them to "sip deeply and elope with their soul." It’s a space meant for relaxation, self-reflection, and soulful sipping, not just a caffeine fix.
❓ Problem I Wanted to Solve
The challenge was simple but important: Brand Awareness.
With the coffee shop industry becoming saturated, many small cafés struggle to stand out. I wanted to explore how powerful branding can help even a small shop feel meaningful, memorable, and inviting.
💡 My Solution
To solve this, I:
Studied branding strategies used by successful cafés and lifestyle brands.
Identified what makes many local brands feel “forgettable” in a competitive space.
Focused on how to emotionally connect with customers through visual storytelling.
I used Canva, AI tools, and HubSpot resources to create a Brand Kit that feels personal and striking—from logo design to typography, color palette, and mood board.
🎯 What I Learned
This project taught me how:
A Brand Kit isn’t just a design guide—it’s a story told visually.
Consistent visuals across platforms help build emotional recognition and recall.
Design choices like typography, colors, and mood boards influence how people feel about a brand—even before they try the product.
🔁 Would I Do Anything Differently?
Since this was a solo mock project, I had full creative control. If this were a client project, I’d tailor everything based on their specific audience, vision, and goals—but the foundation would remain the same.

There was no external client—this was personal work created to demonstrate my branding and visual storytelling skills.
However, this mock project is powerful proof of concept for:
