Client Brief: Edit a dynamic highlights video for a Gala/Sports Awards night celebrating an individual's achievements in sports.
Draft Versions: Created two initial versions for client feedback:
Version 1: A music-driven highlights reel.
Version 2: Included narrative audio from speaker footage with the music.
The client chose Version 1, preferring the energy of a purely music-driven narrative.
Footage Organization:
Import & Review: Imported all footage, selecting standout moments from speeches and award presentations.
Tagging: Tagged key moments of the awardees and emotional highlights for easy access.
Music Selection and Editing:
Music Search: Choose tracks to capture the celebratory atmosphere of the awards night.
Building the Highlights:
Compelling Opening: Started with a captivating shot to set the tone.
Storytelling: Sequenced footage to tell a story of recognition and achievement, focusing on award recipients’ proud moments.
Client Feedback:
Rough Draft: Provided two draft versions for client feedback.
Final Choice: Proceeded with Version 1 based on client preference.
Enhancements and Final Touches:
Transitions & Effects: Smooth transitions and effects were added for a cohesive flow.
Color Grading: Applied vibrant grading for consistency and polish.
Final Delivery:
Approval: Incorporated final feedback for a polished video.
Delivery: Rendered and delivered the completed highlights reel.
