Project Overview:

The client requested a concise 2-minute video showcasing the key players of the rugby team in their playing positions.



Production Process:

Shoot:

Filmed each player in their respective positions on the rugby field.

Editing Workflow:



Inserting Clips:

Arranged the clips in sequence to highlight each player.



Screen Grabs & Masking:

Took screen grabs of the best shots showing the players in action.

Used Photoshop to mask and highlight the players and their actions.



Freeze Frame Effects:

Imported the edited screen grabs into After Effects.

Created freeze frame effects to emphasize each player.

Animated the player’s name, surname, and number, positioning them creatively behind the player.



Logo and Text Effects:

Added two logos at the beginning of the video with accompanying text.

Created a logo watermark effect behind the text.



Music and Sound Effects:

Exported the video to Premiere Pro.

Added music and sound effects to enhance the video.

Used a logo reveal template for the team's logo and added a sound effect to complement it.



Final Touches:

Performed color corrections to enhance the visual appeal.

Created an overlay to give the video a cohesive sports feel.
