Suicide is a global health issue, affecting millions of people every year, and today, we are reminded of one crucial truth, that speaking out can save lives.

For many struggling with mental health challenges, including feelings of hopelessness and suicidal thoughts, silence often becomes their refuge. But silence can also be isolating and dangerous, this is why breaking the silence, by starting a conversation, reaching out for help, or simply expressing how we feel, is so important. It allows others to offer support, listen with empathy, and show that no one has to face their struggles alone.

A simple conversation can be the bridge that brings someone back from the brink, reminding them that help is available and they are not alone.
