Seat Sniper | Real-Time Ticket Scraper & Auto-Purchasing Tool

In this project, I built an asynchronous, high-performance system to scrape real-time seat availability and variant pricing from Mobilet’s APIs, which remains responsive even when the official website is down due to high traffic. Available seats are presented in a block-based dynamic interface that allows users to effortlessly select seats, add them to the cart, and initiate payment directly through the browser.

This project solved the problem of website crashes during high-demand ticket sales by creating a real-time seat selection and auto-purchasing tool. By scraping live data from the Mobilet API, it ensures users can select and purchase tickets even when the official site is down. The system not only enhances the speed and success rates of ticket acquisitions but also minimizes user frustration, providing a seamless experience. Businesses can leverage this tool for smoother sales operations, enhanced customer experience, and real-time seat tracking without downtime interruptions.

During high-demand sales (new year’s gala, pop-star concert, festival pre-sale), Mobilet’s standard web interface often slows or fails under load. A user attempted to purchase tickets for a highly anticipated concert, but the website crashed due to overwhelming demand. Using this tool, the user was able to bypass the site’s downtime, select the seats, and complete the purchase before the event sold out. This system offers users a smooth and efficient ticket-buying experience during peak demand.
