ALYGN — Creative Marketplace Website & Framer Development
Platform: Framer
Timeline: 3 weeks

OVERVIEW

ALYGN is a London-based creative production partner that assembles and manages senior freelance creative teams, built specifically around each client's brief. Rather than a single freelancer or a traditional agency, ALYGN hand-picks vetted specialists (300+ freelancers across 40+ disciplines), then manages the whole production from brief to final delivery. It's a two-sided business: brands who need to hire a team, and freelance creatives who want to join the network.
The website had to serve both audiences at once, sell a premium managed service to clients and recruit top-tier talent, without diluting either message, while proving ALYGN's core promise: in-house quality without agency overhead.

THE CHALLENGE

The project had three distinct layers.
The first was speaking to two audiences from one homepage. Clients and freelancers want opposite things, one wants a managed team and a safe pair of hands, the other wants freedom, fair pay, and reputation. The site had to route each clearly ("Need to hire?" vs "I'm a freelancer") without feeling split-brained.
The second was proving quality in a trust-poor category. "Freelance creative" carries baggage, unreliability, inconsistency, admin pain. ALYGN's whole pitch is the opposite: vetted, senior, managed. The site had to radiate craft and credibility through named talent, real campaigns, client logos, and a reputation system.
The third was showcasing heavy visual work performantly. This is a creative production brand, so the site is image- and video-dense (talent portraits, campaign galleries, showreels). It had to feel like a portfolio while staying fast and structured.

WHAT WAS BUILT

Two-sided homepage architecture — A clear dual path from the hero ("I'm a freelancer" / "Need to hire?"), with the whole page structured so both audiences find their own journey, culminating in dedicated sections ("Join the movement") that speak to each side separately.
Talent roster showcase — A rich, editorial grid of named, handpicked creatives (videographers, directors, DoPs, photographers, stylists, sound designers) with roles and locations, turning "300+ vetted freelancers" from a claim into visible proof.
Campaign case-study sections — Real work presented cinematically (the SLT Studios rings campaign picked up by Gay Times, Raju's "Never Just A Marinade" hot sauce campaign), each with its own gallery and video, reinforcing the "brief to shoot in under two/three weeks" speed promise.
Stats and social proof — Headline metrics (300+ vetted freelancers, 40+ disciplines, 100% senior talent), a "team experience" client-logo wall, and a verified-review/reputation system presented for both clients and creatives.
Reputation & review UI — Interface sections showcasing verified client reviews, quality scores, portfolios, and "top-rated" recognition, communicating the platform's trust layer for both sides.
Clear three-step process — "Send us your brief → we build your team → brief to delivery," structured to make a complex managed service feel simple and low-risk.
Video-led, motion-rich design — Full-bleed video and motion throughout, tuned to keep the heavy media feeling premium and fluid across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
Conversion paths for both audiences — "Book a call" for clients, network sign-up and "find your next project" for freelancers, with a newsletter subscribe to capture the rest.

KEY DECISIONS

Split the audience early, then commit to both. Rather than burying the two journeys, the dual CTA was placed right in the hero and the page was structured to serve each side fully. For a two-sided marketplace, clarity about "who is this for" at every scroll is what prevents confusion.
Led with named people, not stock. The talent grid uses real creatives with names, roles, and cities. In a trust-poor category, showing the actual humans behind the promise is the most persuasive proof available.
Used real campaigns to prove speed. The case studies were framed around ALYGN's differentiator, senior quality delivered fast ("brief to shoot in under two weeks"), turning abstract positioning into concrete, verifiable outcomes.
Made the reputation system visible. Instead of just claiming trust, the site shows the review, score, and portfolio mechanics, so both clients and freelancers can see how credibility is earned and displayed.

OUTCOME

A polished, video-rich, two-sided marketplace website delivered in Framer: dual client/freelancer journeys, a named talent showcase, real campaign case studies, headline stats, and a visible reputation system, all structured to sell a premium managed service while recruiting senior talent.
Where "freelance creative" usually signals risk, ALYGN's site signals the opposite: vetted, senior, managed, and proven. It looks like the in-house-quality promise it sells.
Two audiences. One clear story. A marketplace that looks as senior as its talent.
