When I started working with Amborella Organics, they were already fairly established, having stunning & vibrant photography and a wide list of retailers stocking their products, but the ecommerce experience was severely lacking and was blocking them from venturing into the D2C space.

Creating a direction that reflected the colourful photography and packaging
I started by building off of the vibrant photography by crafting an equally vibrant & colouring creative direction for the brand to branch out with. Then I took this direction and designed a stylish & usable online experience for the team to sell their seed-bearing lollipops easily online.

Selling lollipops as more than just hollipops, but a hollistic experience
The point of Amborella Organics is that they don't just sell simple lollipops, their lollipops are lined with seeds. When user's are done with their snack, they can then plant their stick and grow a plant or herb as they normally would do in their garden.
To help with this, I designed a fun "plant your stick and grow a..." component on the homepage which listed out every plant that could be grown with these lollipops and allowed users to choose what they wanted to grow, rather than listed out all the products. Users would also get another treat when the hovered over the list, as stickers would appear in a fun micro-interation that added to the delighting brand direction.
