Per Aspera is a planetary simulation game that combines hard science fiction and base building and takes the experience planet-wide. Step into the role of AMI, an Artificial Consciousness with the prime directive of terraforming Mars for human colonization.
As my role of UI Designer was to design and develop of the entire UI from a Beta build to a finish product in 4 months.
To do that, i beging working in the visual language with the Art Director and UI with the Game Director to land in a satisfactory and presentable design for the user.
As results i worked in multiple screens such as, skills tree, HUD, notifications, tooltips, settings menu, etc.
As a strategy game, it needs of a precise information and visual clarity to understand the best course of action to take. For that it was develop a series of icons to help the user understand and simplify actions and events.
After launch and working closely with the game publisher, Raw Fury, I worked in a serie of social content assets for social and marketing.
Design and develop of the UI and 2D art assets of the game, 4 months before the game launch. Post launch support with additional UI and marketing design assets.
