The client needed a new site for the game Worldshards with scalability, fast content updates, and the ability to add game events. As a result, a site was developed that matches the game in style and presentation, enhancing its visual identity in several aspects. The client received not just a website, but a long-term platform with thoughtful architecture, scalable content management, and rich interactivity.

A full design system was built from the start: Webflow Components, CSS variables, repeating styles, patterns, and templates for animations and custom code. This approach ensured project scalability and stability without losing visual consistency. GSAP and JavaScript were actively used for complex animations, going beyond Webflow Interactions capabilities. CMS Collections formed the basis of content management, while Finsweet provided convenient navigation and filtering for users. Splide Slider was additionally used for dynamic lists.

Scalability and Design System The site architecture allows fast expansion and addition of new sections without reworking existing structure.

Flexible Content Management The combination of CMS Collections, Splide, and Finsweet enables the client to manage leaderboards, events, and NFTs independently. The site automatically adapts content without a developer.

Animations and Pseudo-3D Effects Despite primarily 2D design, layering, perspective, and animations added a sense of depth and volume to background elements.

The project demonstrates the value of a design system and architectural approach. The site shows how close collaboration between developer, designer, and client creates a scalable platform with strong visuals, easy content management, and long-term viability.
