Zero-downtime deploys and 99.99% uptime for United Airlines

Problem
Customer-facing and operational airline systems needed high availability with fast, safe releases and rapid incident response.
What I did
Ran cloud-native AWS environments on EKS, including load balancer, security group and IAM configuration across availability zones
Built and tuned Jenkins and GitLab pipelines with Argo CD GitOps and reliable rollback strategies
Rebuilt CloudWatch alerting and the incident-response process
Outcome
Platform held at 99.99% uptime, a failed release could be reverted within minutes, and time-to-diagnosis for production issues dropped.
