This is the actual video which will let you know my editing skills.



All these techniques may be used in any sort of video to keep the pace and momentum in it which is required for audience retention. Compositing techniques and transitions are necessary to use stock footage and B-rolls efficiently.

Now let's talk about my tools & workflow :

Softwares I use-

• Premiere Pro ( For basic cuts)
• After Effects ( For advanced VFX, if needed)
• Photoshop ( For thumbnails )

My Editing Workflow-

• AUDIO- I start every project by setting up audio. For dialogue, I will do the cleaning and add slow bgm. If there's no dialogue, I begin by marking beats and adding SFX when required.
• Trimming- Next step is to cut the raw video footage and sync it with the beats to set it up for transitions.
• Transitions- Now it's time to make jump cuts more interesting with smooth transitions that look amazing when graphed and paired with SFX.
• Text and Overlays- The addition of text, overlays, and b-rolls is the next step. The use of these elements gives depth and dynamics to a boring video and makes it more engaging & interesting for the viewer.
• Special FX- Visual effects are not necessary and shouldn't be overused, but they look good if added in the right amount. I usually add effects like saber, 3d motions, etc.
• Color Grading- The most important step for any video in my opinion. Color correction is very much important to add contrast, depth, and character to every video. I use plugins to achieve high-quality color correction which is also used by many filmmakers.
