Briefing & Goals Maria Gysi and I have been commissioned by Sony Music Entertainment Germany GmbH to design the branding for Spanish artist Alvaro Soler. The goal is to reach a younger audience. The brand should be as personal as possible and tailored to the artist.
The cool 70's look in typography, sky color scheme, vintage vs. zeitgeist contrast in all areas were planned for him. While Maria took care of the clothing, interior, color concepts, color grading, architecture in the music videos, and effects, I designed the logo, prepared typographic concepts and designed the cover for Alvaro Soler's single "Muero".
The keywords for the project from the artist were "bold, modern, mature, curious, unique." The feedback from his fans has been very positive. I'm delighted to present this project!
