eCommerce Sales Reporting

I recently had the opportunity to work with a company in the mining equipment industry, focusing on enhancing their eCommerce store's data capabilities. The project's goal was to build a Business Intelligence (BI) solution that could integrate with their existing systems and provide meaningful insights into their sales data.

The main objectives of the project were:

To create a connection between the company's Adobe Magento eCommerce platform and Microsoft Azure.

To set up an efficient process for handling data (ETL - Extract, Transform, Load).

To enable detailed sales reporting and analytics using Microsoft Power BI.

Improved Decision Making: The new BI system gave the company a clearer understanding of their sales data, aiding in more informed decision-making.

Operational Efficiency: Automating the data processes reduced manual work and improved accuracy.

Scalability: The system was built to handle increased data needs in the future.

User Accessibility: The Power BI dashboards were made user-friendly, allowing staff to easily access and interpret the data.

This project showed how valuable a well-integrated BI system can be for a company, especially in a specialized field like mining equipment.
