Altere is an AI-era learning tool, and its founder came to me with no brand at all, just a feeling for the vibe he wanted and a few references, PostHog among them. We started from that and landed on one idea to build everything around: as AI makes it easy to stop thinking, Altere helps you keep growing. So the hero isn't a stock graphic, it's a hand-painted neuron forest. What reads as plants is really synapses and brain cells growing. I designed and illustrated all of it, then coded it into a page built to make visitors stay: a parallax effect gives the forest depth, cells light up as you move a cursor or tap through them, and joining the waitlist sets the whole forest lighting up in celebration. Small, deliberate details, the kind that tell a visitor in the first second that this was made by a person who cared, not generated.
