Freelance Quote Decision Guardrail

Fixed-price work becomes risky when marketplace fees, currency conversion, direct costs, and tax reserves are evaluated separately or rounded inconsistently. I built this self-initiated command-line tool to make that decision reproducible. The calculator uses decimal arithmetic to evaluate a proposed price, break down configurable deductions, test a prudent availability target, and calculate the mathematical minimum for the selected scenario. It produces structured JSON that can be reviewed manually or consumed by another workflow. Six automated tests verify fee calculations, gross-based reserves, fixed withdrawal costs, local-currency handling, additional-cost scenarios, and invalid inputs. The presets are planning assumptions rather than tax or financial advice, and users must replace them with the actual terms of each contract.
