Fava Tonka

One of five distinct restaurants that make up the Avesso Group, Fava Tonka is the home to innovative cuisine and sustainability. Aiming to produce as minimal waste as possible, their dishes are made with local produce and according to each season, which combined with recipes that use all parts of the ingredient results in unique flavours and colourful combinations.

After renovations and a new menu just in time for the season, their space became more aligned with their vision and new pictures were needed for their Instagram profile, that where I came in!

It was really important to the brand to make sure most photos were taken at the restaurant and not at the studio.

Food presentation was very important and close collaboration with the chef was essential.

As they have an open kitchen design where customers can watch the food being prepared, that also needed to be shown online.

Help demystify the idea that vegetarian food is boring.

One visit resulted in content for a month, where a series of dishes were photographed, as well as the environment and staff at work. To complement that, a few short form videos for stories were also captured.
