Situation: I had a passion for personal growth and social impact, and I wanted to create a platform that would help people improve their lives through the understanding and improvement of their three key relationships: themselves, their community, and their environment.

Task: My task was to develop and help co create rootstheprogram.com, a platform that would offer tools and education for individuals and companies to enhance their well-being, happiness, and purpose. The platform would include a podcast, a newsletter, a course, and a community, covering various topics related to personal development, social innovation, and environmental sustainability. The platform would also aim to raise capital through investors and drive profits through sponsors and subscribers.

Action: To accomplish this task, I did the following:

  • I defined the scope of the platform, including the objectives, benefits, and specifications. I conducted a thorough market analysis, identifying the needs, challenges, and opportunities of potential customers. I also researched the best practices and trends in the industry, and benchmarked the competitors.
  • I aligned the platform with the relevant stakeholders, such as the content creators, the customers, the investors, and the vendors. I communicated the vision, value, and timeline of the platform clearly and frequently. I also involved the key stakeholders in the planning and execution of the platform, soliciting their feedback and input along the way.
  • I managed the stakeholder and vendor relationships, ensuring clear and frequent communication, collaboration, and coordination. I used tools such as teamwork.com and hubspot to manage the projects, tasks, and workflows. I also used tools such as zoom and slack to communicate and share information with the stakeholders and vendors. I also created and maintained contracts, agreements, and invoices with the stakeholders and vendors, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • I addressed the technical and data nuances of the platform, such as compatibility, security, scalability, and analytics. I ensured that the tools and platforms used by the platform were compatible with each other, and with the customers’ needs and preferences. I also ensured that the data collected and processed by the platform was secure, compliant, and ethical. I also ensured that the platform could scale up or down according to the demand and capacity. I also used tools such as google analytics and hubspot to measure and optimize the performance and impact of the platform.
  • I developed and helped co create the platform using various tools and platforms, such as wordpress, anchor, mailchimp, teachable, and discord. I used wordpress to create the website of the platform, using features such as blogs, SEO, and social media. I used anchor to create the podcast of the platform, using features such as recording, editing, and distribution. I used mailchimp to create the newsletter of the platform, using features such as campaigns, segments, and tags. I used teachable to create the course of the platform, using features such as lessons, quizzes, and certificates. I used discord to create the community of the platform, using features such as channels, roles, and bots.

Result: The platform was a successful and profitable venture, thanks to the careful planning and execution, and the collaboration and cooperation of all the stakeholders and vendors. The platform served thousands of customers, ranging from individuals to small businesses to large corporations, helping them to improve their lives through the understanding and improvement of their three key relationships. The platform also received positive feedback and testimonials from the customers, as well as recognition and awards from the industry. The platform also raised capital from investors, and drove profits from sponsors and subscribers.
