As a cold caller, appointment setting is essential for taking into consideration the market perspective and understanding what trends are revolving in the market at the moment. So the context is that if you want something from your client and you directly ask them, alot of questions take place in their mind which they refuse to ask and rather they try to push you away and put the phone down asap. So always starting at the basic idea, the basic need, the most lower level of pain point with the customer is what always gets them curious to listen in on you and also, to take your offer too.
