Working with an RV rental business, I developed a technical guide/user walkthrough transcribed from a video the owner and I shot explaining to future/first-time renters and operators the basics and need-to-know details of utilizing the features of the vehicle.

After familiarizing myself with footage explaining the main features of the RV, I created a user-friendly walkthrough of the RV comprised of the following sections:

About: Explaining the year, make, and model, as well as the dimensions and engine specifications

Initial Instruction: Guiding the user through the first steps when entering the RV and locating the master battery switch to allow access to electrical components.

Starting Generator: Highlighting step-by-step instructions to gain functionality of the generator and necessary pivots if issues arise.

Control Panel: Explaining how to measure and read the levels for water tanks, propane gas, and battery via the control panel; relationship between the generator and its effect on battery levels.

Water Heater: Detailed walkthrough of how users will gain access to hot water, including the pilot light mechanism and its relationship with the RV's propane usage.

Water Pump: Location of the switch needed to use this feature and information related to ensuring this mechanism has been performed correctly.

Small Appliances: Listing available small appliances of the RV, instructions on how to operate them, and troubleshooting/best practices.

Comfort Features: Detailing comfort items such as dinette table, beds, etc., their locations within the RV, and how to operate them.

Bathroom: Brief listing of amenities the user will encounter in the lavatory.

Water Connections: Explanation of different use cases for water tank, directions on how to fill the tank, and best practices for each scenario.

Electric Power: Instructions on location of compartment, details of whats inside, directions on how to access power, and important best practices for use.

Propane Tank: Location of compartment and instructions to fill tank.

Generator Use: Information regarding usage of generator and instructions for maintenance and upkeep.

Emptying Water Tanks: Location of and instructions on how to empty water tanks, as well as best practices.

Thank You Message: Message of appreciation to renter, instructions on obtaining roadside assistance, and navigating contingencies.
