Xyterna: A Records App That Reads Your Files For You

Eterna Clarity

Eterna Clarity

Xyterna is a records app that reads your files for you. Take a photo of a receipt, a bill, a warranty card or a stack of paperwork, or upload files you already have, and Xyterna reads them, understands what they are, files them, and keeps the original connected. When you need an answer later, you ask, and it answers from the original instead of guessing.
This case study walks the whole product: what it is, how a record gets in, how the library works, the Ask feature, and the terms it sells on. The screens shown are the real product, running on its public demo account.

The Product
The Product
Everything begins on the home screen: what the app holds for you, anything waiting for attention, and a short path to every part of the library.
The design decision that matters most here is restraint. A records app earns trust by being calm. Nothing on this screen shouts, and nothing asks to be learned.

Adding is the moment the product lives or dies, because nobody keeps up with a filing system that makes filing a chore. Take a photo, upload files, or drop in a whole folder; Xyterna reads what arrives and writes a plain-language summary of each record.
It also files on its own, into categories and albums it creates from what it read. And if it is unsure about something, it flags the uncertainty instead of guessing, so a wrong guess never gets filed as a fact.
Add

Photos and documents live side by side here: the original image alongside the record it became, so the proof and the summary never drift apart.

Records
Each record keeps its summary, its key dates and its source file together. Open any record and you see what it is, why it matters, and the original it came from, one tap away.
Inside a Category
Inside a Category
Inside a category, the library behaves like a well-kept cabinet: one kind of record, one place, everything in date order.
Ask Xyterna
Ask Xyterna
Ask is the feature people remember. Ask a question in plain words and Xyterna answers from your actual records, with every answer linked to the exact source it came from.
That link is the difference between an answer and a claim. You are never asked to trust the app; you can check it, every time.
Reports
Reports
Reports turn the library into paperwork you can hand over: export a category as a spreadsheet or a PDF, ready for an accountant, an insurer or a claim.
Find
Find
Find closes the loop: one search across summaries, categories and originals, so the answer to 'where is that document' is seconds, not an afternoon.

Settings
Settings
A personal records app holds personal things, so it should feel personal: accent colours, patterns and light, warm and dark modes, all set the way you like them.
Built for Real Life
Built for Real Life
Settings stays plain: account, storage, reminders drawn from the key dates on your records, and the controls that matter, in language anyone can follow.
Try It Yourself
Try It Yourself
The practical terms are on this slide, and they were the point of the design: one yearly price, generous storage for original files, no automatic overage charges, and it installs as an app on the devices people already own. Upgrade only if you outgrow it.
