Sound Decision

The Sound Decision project involved integrating QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise 23.0 with Odoo using an ODBC server, ensuring real-time data synchronization between the two systems.

The integration facilitated export and import operations for partners, customers, products, sales orders, invoices, and purchase orders.

Several challenges were addressed, including NoneType errors, account/customer ID mismatches, and data inconsistencies, which were resolved through customizations in the QuickBooks Odoo Connector.

Additionally, the project included performance optimizations for import operations, particularly for account payments and purchase orders, where database transaction failures and disconnection issues were debugged at the code and query level.

The update operations for customers, products, and purchase orders were also refined by implementing error handling mechanisms and optimizing SQL queries to ensure seamless data synchronization across both platforms.
