Teras Coffee is a mobile application for coffee shop customers who feel annoyed when queuing and the queue at the coffee shop is long and long, then I have a solution that is to create an application that helps customers can order menus and book places online without having to queue at the coffee shop location.

A small coffee shop that has many customers. But lately they have a problem that the queue from the coffee shop is very long, so many customers are disappointed because they don't get the place they want.

After understanding user needs and expectations, I designed the application based on a problem-solving framework and created a low-fidelity prototype. I ran a user test with 5 participants and entered feedback to refine the design, Next, I created a high-fidelity prototype. To solve the problem, I use the Design Thinking methodology. in helping to solve complex problems with unknown variables by understanding human needs. The stages of design thinking are Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. In addition, the design thought method also applies an iterative model in designing the appearance and functional requirements of the product.

Teras Coffee is a small coffee shop in Jepara City. They have many customers. However, recently they have had a problem, namely that the queue from the coffee shop is very long, so many customers are disappointed because they didn't get the place they wanted.

To solve the problems faced in this case, I offer a solution for Teras Coffee who want to create a coffee ordering and place booking application. I'm trying to create the foundation of an ordering flow so that users can easily place orders through the application. Apart from ordering, I am also trying to create a place booking flow through the application. The process to complete this case study I used the design thinking method, in the design thinking method I first carried out research and carried out usability testing. The process provided me with a rewarding and challenging experience. I learned a lot about empathy and and improved my problem solving and brainstorming skills. Although the limited time given has affected the idea generation process.

After carrying out usability testing, the results were that most users found it difficult to choose the place they wanted. Apart from that, after selecting the menu, many users are confused about whether to choose a basket. I have completed this project completely although there are still some gaps in the work. If there was more time available I would focus on developing the foundation of this application to allow me to add features such as payment using QR Codes for potential future development.
