An example of my earliest work, this press release kick started a multimedia marketing campaign for It's Good To Be Young In The Mountains (IG2BYITM).

IG2BYITM, dubbed "the party where a conference breaks out," was a four-day event that brought together young people (of all ages) from Central Appalachia to celebrate art and culture and discuss their hopes for the future of the region.

A second gathering took place in 2017, building on the progress and ideas shared at the inaugural IG2BYITM conference.

The Eastern Kentucky Leadership Conference is a yearly gathering and awards ceremony. Public officials, business leaders and engaged citizens gather to discuss issues impacting the region and recognize exemplary leaders.

The theme for the 2017 EKLC was “Transitioning Eastern Kentucky: Economy, Workforce, Demographics.”

The 2017 awards honored nominees in the categories of Culture and Arts, Media and Technology, Organization (business), Public Individual, Private Individual and Youth Leadership.
