Project: Creating a Lyrics Video for "Addicted" by Niniola

For this project, I was tasked with producing a captivating lyrics video for the Aftobeat/Afrohouse song titled "Addicted" by Niniola Apata. The objective was to create a visually stunning and engaging video that would resonate with the audience, aligning seamlessly with Niniola's vibrant storytelling style and brand identity.

The success of this project hinged on meticulous planning and effective project management. I began by collaborating closely with stakeholders, including Niniola's team, to understand their vision and objectives. This involved in-depth discussions and creative brainstorming sessions to ensure alignment.

Next, clear tasks and milestones were defined to streamline workflow and maximise efficiency.

I proficiently used Adobe Illustrator to craft key visual elements, while Premiere Pro served as the primary tool for timeline editing. To add special effects and enhance visual appeal, Adobe After Effects was instrumental.

While made primarily for YouTube, shorter versions were optimized for social media formats including vertical video. I meticulously fine-tuned the video to maximize viewer engagement and retention, grabbing the audience's attention within the first few seconds. This approach not only amplified the impact of the video but also ensured it reached a wider audience.
