BEFRIENDING THE SUN AND SEA A sustainable spa complex for the fjord of Lofoten, Vindstad. A Nordic fjord bathhouse masterplan inspired by the return of the sun in Northern Norway. The project explores a sensitive relationship between architecture, landscape, and climate, embedding low-profile timber and stone structures into the rugged Lofoten terrain. Through bathing spaces, saunas, outdoor terraces, and coastal pathways, the design creates a place for connection with the sea, mountains, and seasonal rhythms of nature.
