BlockFi is a fintech in the crypto domain, with a wide range of products like Interest Accounts, Lending, Trading, etc. As part of the Payments team, handled fiat on-ramp and off-ramps.
Developed services to automate deposits and withdrawals of Wires and ACH by connecting directly to bank APIs. with services handling close to $15m per day
Built-in reconciliation mechanisms as bank APIs and webhooks were inconsistent.
Worked on integrating Stripe with the payments platform to enable International Payments.
Integrated with Prometheus and Grafana to generate and visualize product metrics.
Complex query optimization in postgres: Used Psql query planner to analyze and improve query performance. In a particular instance, adding relevant indices and lateral join improved the query time by 10x.
