Working on an elixir based messaging platform used for secure communications by large enterprises, banks, private groups and a city based super app. The platform acts as a hub for all kinds of communication between end users, third party service providers and internal services.

Part of the City SuperApp - Istanbul Senin, which supports 16M citizens

Worked on a broadcast/ multicast system to deliver messages to a large audience using OTP tools

Built adapter mechanism for the system to use Mongo or Postgres, based on client infrastructure

Added metrics using telemetry and prometheus to record and fine tune performance

Leveraged Kafka for aggregating messaging streams from different sources
