But the main product that people were waiting for was the iPhone 13. They revealed four new models for the product: the standard 6.1-inch display version, the plus Pro, a mini model, and a Pro Max model, which will be a larger screen and have better battery life. From Friday onwards all these four models will be made available to preorder and will lunch in stores on the 24th of September. The starting price for the iPhone is $699 which is for the mini model and then will make its way up at $1,099 for the iPhone Pro MAx.

The iPhone 13 is set to be released in 5 colors: blue, pink, red, midnight (a blackish shade), and starlight (a whitish shade). There will be two cameras on the back of the phone and will be placed diagonally. It will include the typical upgrade to the battery life, display, and speed but an added feature will be the Cinematic Mode. This allows the users to have an automatic focus to shift between the subjects in any video. It is similar to portrait mode which is available while taking photos. With the arrival of the new phone, we can also expect the arrival of iOS 15 that lunches on the 20th of September. This will have updates for a live text feature, focus mode to manage all your notifications, and also Facetime. When talking more specifically about the camera here are the things which will be available:

All three lenses are available in night mode

Apple Watch Series 7

Apple also unveiled their new model for their Apple watches which will now come with a much larger display and has been redesigned to now provide for a wraparound effect. Changes have also been made to the digital buttons, which will now appear bigger so users will find it easier to hit the snooze button on their alarms. With the extra screen area, you’ll notice that Apple has added a predictive text keyboard as well. Users will be able to type out a quick message by the means of dragging their fingers on the screen. To leverage the size of the new display they have included a new face as well. With the new upgrade, users will be able to charge their watches 33% faster and it has an overall battery life of 18-hours. The new model is available in green, midnight, red, and starlight colors. It is set to launch this coming fall at the price of $399.

iPads

The event also showed all the updates done in the iPad line. The new versions starting at a cost of $329 and then move up with the iPad Mini starting at $499. The new iPad mini will have an 8.3-inch touchscreen and is said to perform almost 80% faster than all the previous models. The iPad will be available from the 24th of September. Upgrades have been made to the cameras and along with support for both 5G wireless networks and the Apple Pencil. Even though the entry-level iPad will still retain the same price and design, it will still have more storage and have an additional 12 -megapixel front-facing camera. It will also have support for the center stage which is a feature on the iPad Pro models that is able to automatically detect and then follow who is on the screen.
Greg Joswiak who is Apple’s senior vice president for worldwide marketing stated that “Our customers rely on iPhone every day, which is why we’ve made iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini more powerful, more capable, and more fun to use”.
You will notice a lot of subtle upgrades that have been made to the iPhone. This is due to the remaining popularity of the model and the “pent up demand”, stated an analyst from Wedbush Daniel Ives. According Ives to reports 250 million out of the 975 million iPhones that have been sold has not been upgraded in almost 3.5 years. You can have a look for yourselves as all 4 models of the iPhone will be available for preorder starting this coming Friday.
