bsyde: Migraine Tracking App in Motion

Tracking products are hard to demo. The value is not in any single screen, it is in what accumulates across weeks, and a flow of form screens is the least interesting thing to look at. The film had to make a multi-step questionnaire feel light, then land the payoff.

Open on the promise, then straight into the product. The check-in runs in sequence: symptoms picked from a chip grid, each one rated on a five-point severity scale, day impact, triggers, medications taken. Confirmation. Then the dashboard, where the numbers from that check-in are visibly recalculated.

Putting the dashboard last is the whole point of the edit. Every tap in the check-in is a small cost, and the closing beat is what that cost buys: migraine days, symptom days, average severity, average duration, top symptoms and top triggers.

Selections animate as real taps, one after another, with chips filling in sequence rather than all at once. It reads as a person moving through the flow instead of screens being presented.

The severity scales use color as they fill, moving through amber into red as ratings climb, so the pace of the sequence carries information rather than just filling time.

On the dashboard, counters tick up to their new values and delta indicators animate in after the number settles. That short delay is what makes the update feel like a consequence of the check-in.

Titles and screens both live on the same soft green gradient, so cuts between narrative and product read as one continuous piece.
