A business coach approached me with a costly problem – they were spending $15,000/month on ads but seeing only a 45% show-up rate for their sales calls. Each no-show was essentially burning $200-300 in ad spend.
My diagnosis revealed several issues with their application funnel. Their application page was asking generic questions that weren't properly qualifying prospects. Additionally, their confirmation sequence wasn't building enough anticipation for the call.
We implemented three key changes:
Refined the application questions to better qualify prospects
Added social proof elements to the confirmation page
Developed a new pre-call reminder sequence that highlighted specific call outcomes
The results were dramatic: show-up rates increased to 82% within two weeks, and sales call conversion rates improved by 35% because the leads were better qualified. Their cost per qualified sales call dropped from $285 to $170.
