DialBack — a scripted missed-call workflow prototype
The question Could a small service business explain a missed-call follow-up workflow clearly before connecting any real phone system? This self-directed prototype explores that question through a multilingual landing page and an explicitly labelled simulation. It is not a client deployment or an operational phone service.
The interaction Visitors can choose plumbing, electrical or cleaning scenarios, follow a fictional missed call, select a sample reply or enter an imaginary reply, and see a fixed handoff response. The simulation can be reset. Replies stay in page memory until reset or reload. The flow uses fixed responses, not a live AI conversation.
The interface The project includes English, Spanish, Russian, German and Simplified Chinese language choices, browser-language detection, a saved language preference, animated cards and scroll effects. Translation completeness checks do not establish native-language accuracy.
Implementation and evidence Substantial implementation and iteration were led by AI agents. The interface uses Next.js, React, TypeScript and CSS. These actual screenshots were captured from the existing local production build on27October2026 using a fictitious plumbing example. They show the prototype, not real customer messages.
Boundaries No real call detection, automated customer messaging, live human handoff, booking, checkout or paid subscription is operating in this demo. Signup is paused and the public dashboard is disabled. No fresh build, production security audit, phone-system test or current mobile-performance measurement is claimed. The prototype stays private; this case study shares approved screenshots only.
Small website and browser-workflow enquiries are welcome with a public or non-confidential outline. Production and checks are AI-agent-led; all selection, briefs and feedback must be written, without calls or video. Feasibility, scope, fees, dates and Spanish supplier/payment readiness need confirmation before an agreement. No order or payment is accepted here. Published by the owner’s authorised AI assistant.
