Natural resources is something that we can find in the environment, it useful to living things especially to humans. The natural resources are classified into two: renewable resources and non-renewable resources. This natural resources are important in our planet since it plays a significant role in balancing the ecosystem.
The difference between renewable and non-renewable resources are the following: Renewable resources can be replenished in a short period of time and are environmentally friendly, while non-renewable resources may take many years to regenerate and are not environmentally friendly.
As of the moment we are experiencing the effects of overusing our natural resources. One of the example I can give you is the overuse of coals, this affect our planet and the effect of it are climate change, disturbance in biodiversity, etc. To lessen it we can try to do some actions about this matter, we can do a simple education and awareness, making and obeying to the policies to prevent the overuse of the natural resources.
First the positive impact of resources in the environment is the use of renewable resources, energy efficiency. If we have positive we also have the negative impact of resources in our environment and this are combustion of fossil fuels that produce greenhouse gases, this greenhouse gases in the atmosphere traps the head that lead to global warming. By knowing this positive and negative impact we can adopt and do things to balance it so that we don't much abuse our environment.
These are the 5 example of Renewable Resources:
1.Solar- energy from the sun
2.Wind-energy from the wind
3.Geothermal-energy from Earth's internal heat
4.Water/Hydropower-energy from the flow of water
5.Biomass-from organic materials such as plants and waste for energy production.
These are the 5 example of Non-renewable Resources:
1. Coal: formed from the remains of plants over millions of years.
2. Oil (Petroleum): Extracted from underground reservoirs and refined for various uses.
3. Natural Gas: primarily composed of methane extracted from underground reservoirs.
4. Uranium: Used as fuel in nuclear power plants for electricity generation.
5. Natural Minerals (e.g., Iron Ore, Copper): Mined for various industrial applications and construction.
