For Pride Month, VW wanted to show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community by creating custom tops that were worn during pre-match. The logo reinterpreted the layout of the iconic ‘V’ and ‘W’ and used to outer ring to highlight BIPOC and Trans communities as well. We aimed to make the logo even more inclusive, avoiding the common “rainbow washing” that takes place during Pride month. USWNT is openly an advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and we designed a bold logo represent that.
