ICON DESIGN for Eleven-M

I had the opportunity to work on a custom icon set for Eleven-M (Australia) in collaboration with Jen Clark Design. The project started with gathering references and sketching out initial ideas based on the client’s request (the sketching it self is rough sketch to make a faster work hours). They wanted a simple, bold line style with a hand-drawn feel, so I created six sample icons, each with references, sketches, and style variations.

After a few rounds of revisions, we landed on a unique five-color icon style that balanced boldness and clarity while ensuring they didn’t look like generic stock icons. I always love adding small unique touches to my work—like for the “government” icon, where I incorporated Canberra’s Parliament House to make it more locally relevant.

The final project included a complete set of icons and an infographic, delivered in SVG, EPS, and PNG formats for easy use. The entire process—from research and sketches to revisions and final files—took around 20 hours.
