With 800,000+ members across 500 practices, Pet Health Club is the UK’s largest preventative pet healthcare brand. But their old website wasn’t doing the brand justice - outdated, cluttered, and failing to reflect the warmth and trust that sits at the heart of their offering.
As both a designer and a pet owner (and member of one of their practices), this project was especially close to me personally.
Industry
Veterinary
Scope
Redesign the website from the ground up and incorporate the new branding after the merger with sister site My Family Vets.
The Goal
Bring the new Pet Health Club brand to life online - conveying trust, warmth, and peace of mind
Optimise their huge library of articles for SEO, ensuring templates are designed to rank highly and drive organic growth
Create a clean, modern experience that feels welcoming and easy to navigate for pet owners
What I Did
Designed and launched new core pages: Homepage, About Us, Pet Advice, Article template, and Practice Details
Built SEO-friendly layouts and article templates to support their extensive content library
Applied brand elements in a way that balanced professionalism with friendliness, aligning with the expectations of pet owners
Outcome
The redesign gave Pet Health Club a website that finally matched the scale of their membership base - clearer, warmer, and better optimised for discoverability. It set the foundation for the brand’s continued growth, ensuring pet owners could easily find the advice and support they needed.
