The ASHI is a luxury boutique hotel and event venue in North Brunswick, New Jersey, where timeless design, culinary mastery, and thoughtful hospitality create a destination for weddings, corporate events, and elevated stays. Recognized as one of Condé Nast Traveler's Best Hotels in New Jersey 2025, The ASHI needed a digital presence that matched their philosophy of quiet luxury and personalized service.
Our agency was engaged to design and build a complete Webflow-based website that showcases three core offerings - boutique hotel accommodations, signature event venues (weddings, corporate affairs, private dining), and exceptional dining experiences - all presented with the same timeless elegance that defines The ASHI's physical spaces.

CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS
Challenge 1: Conveying "Quiet Luxury" Digitally Quiet luxury is about restraint, subtlety, and timeless quality - the opposite of flashy effects or aggressive marketing. The challenge was creating a website that felt luxurious without relying on visual excess.
Our Solution: We used restraint as the design principle. Generous whitespace, refined typography, subtle animations, and letting photography breathe rather than cramming pages with content. Every design decision asked "does this feel timeless or trendy?" The result is a site that won't feel dated in five years — matching The ASHI's architectural philosophy.
Challenge 2: Serving Three Distinct User Journeys Hotel guests booking rooms, couples planning weddings, and corporate event planners have completely different needs and decision timelines. Creating separate sites would dilute the brand; one site needed to serve all three seamlessly.
Our Solution: We built unified navigation with clear entry points for each audience. The homepage carousel highlights all three offerings equally. Top-level navigation separates Accommodations, The Venue (events), and Dining so each user type finds their path immediately. The brand message stays consistent while the content adapts to each journey.
Challenge 3: Booking Integration Without Breaking Brand Experience Third-party booking systems (Choice Hotels) often look generic and break the luxury experience when users click "Reserve."
Our Solution: We designed the booking button integration to feel native to The ASHI's brand, then ensured the transition to Choice Hotels' system was as smooth as possible. While we can't control their interface, the handoff is clearly communicated so guests understand they're moving to the secure booking platform.
