Facebook Ads Project: Handbag Brand Campaign
For this project, I spearheaded the entire Facebook Ads strategy for a boutique handbag brand that specializes in handmade craftsmanship. I was responsible for every stage, from market research to ad creation, targeting, and optimization. The result was a successful campaign with a 4.01 ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
Goals & Objectives:
Increase brand awareness for the new collection of handmade handbags.
Drive sales conversions through a data-driven ad campaign.
Achieve a strong ROAS by refining targeting and optimizing the ad creatives.
Project Phases
Market Research
ü  Conducted comprehensive market research to identify the target audience, focusing on individuals aged 25-45 with a strong interest in fashion, handmade goods, and premium accessories.
ü  Analyzed competitors' ad strategies and audience engagement to determine key selling points and messaging opportunities for the handbag line.
ü  Leveraged Facebook's Audience Insights to build a clear customer persona based on demographics, interests, and behaviors.
      II.            Data-Driven Strategy Development
ü  Using the insights from research, I crafted a data-driven strategy that was tailored to the brand’s unique selling points, such as:
§  Premium quality materials and handmade craftsmanship.
§  Limited-edition collections, creating a sense of exclusivity.
ü  Defined specific KPIs, such as click-through rates (CTR), conversion rates, and ROAS to track the success of each ad set.
ü  Segmented the audience into different interest-based categories (e.g., fashionistas, ethical buyers, eco-conscious shoppers) to create highly personalized ad sets.
Creative Development
ü  To engage the audience and highlight the brand’s values, I developed a self-created video guide featuring the handbag’s design process and showcasing its high-quality materials.
ü  The video featured visual hooks such as behind-the-scenes footage of craftsmanship, zoom-in shots of textures, and testimonials from happy customers.
ü  For ad copy, I crafted compelling hooks like:
§  "Step into luxury, handcrafted for you."
§  "Limited edition handbags—where timeless style meets artisan craftsmanship."
§  "Make people look back to the luxury you carry. Feel the difference in every stitch. Crafted by hand, made for you."
ü  These hooks emphasized the exclusivity and luxurious feel of the handbags, which resonated with the target audience.
Ad Campaign Launch & Optimization
ü  Launched a series of Facebook Ads, including carousel ads and video ads to provide a seamless shopping experience.
ü  Used dynamic product ads (DPA) for remarketing purposes, targeting users who had visited the website but hadn’t made a purchase
ü  Regularly monitored campaign performance and made data-driven optimizations, such as reallocating budgets, and tweaking audience targeting.
Results
ü  4.01 ROAS: By focusing on audience segmentation and data-driven optimizations, the campaign achieved a return on ad spend of 4.01.
ü  Sales growth: The brand experienced a significant increase in handbag sales within the first two months of the campaign.
ü  Engagement & reach: The video guide performed exceptionally well, increasing engagement (likes, shares, comments) and driving a higher CTR.
Conclusion
This project demonstrated my ability to manage a Facebook Ads campaign from start to finish, including market research, creative development, strategy optimization, and performance analysis. By creating engaging video content and leveraging data insights, I was able to drive both awareness and conversions, ultimately helping the handbag brand achieve a strong 4.01 ROAS.
