As my final project while working for MedPro Communications, Inc. (2005-2010), I was the Lead Project Manager for a large medical education symposium to be held at a conference. The symposium involved coordinating with representatives from the customer's organization (a leading pharmaceutical company sharing data about a new product), a professional medical writer, team of graphic designers, printers, and the banquet team at the hotel where the conference was held. This symposium was planned months in advance, expert speakers were selected to help create content and present live at the event. One speaker had to present virtually, which involved additional coordination with hotel Audio Visual crews. The event had just over 500 attendees and was completed with zero issues. The clients were thrilled and attendees reported that they enjoyed the event and learned a lot about the product.
