Refuge Supper Club

Our mission: to promote cross-cultural interaction, build a place of refuge, & create a conversation with communities that rarely interact with one another. Worked with the community to find 3 locations and multiple sponsors for the suppers Engaged with the refugees to support their interest and endeavors; find refugees who would like to cook their traditional dishes for the community Succeed in obtaining over $7,000 in sponsors and in-kind donations from local organizations and companies Coordinated the suppers and lead the volunteers, refugee chefs, and guests Fundraised through ticket sales over $2,500 for the OKC refugee community Promoted the missions through social media platforms, print and online media, and local businesses in OKC
