Mood Bake is the brain child of Madison Ortega, a young and talented baker who recently moved to NYC to start her entrepreneurial baking journey.

Madison reached out to me looking for a logo design for her brand new business. Her aesthetic is psychedelic bubbly cute with a 70s saturation, and her baking style includes beautifully decadent and colorful cakes permeated with sunshine vibes and plenty of pink. My assignment was to make a visual representation of everything Madison and Mood Bake is.

Madison’s aesthetic was a natural and fun design style for me to work in, and I took great pleasure in creating and refining logo options for Mood Bake. The final logo that she chose exemplified both her personal and baking style and features elements she uses in her cake designs such as drippy frosting, piping, and berries & flowers. My aim was to create a logo so sweet that you would want to eat it up, and I hope that I succeeded.
