MUKU: Bonsai-Inspired Furniture Design

MUKU: This piece of furniture translates the Japanese bonsai ritual into form. Metal plates are shaped with tension straps, creating a temporary balance between force and flexibility. Tightening them requires focus and physical involvement, much like bending a branch. The object responds to your actions. When you let go, the material relaxes. The tension fades. Everything returns to another beginning. A memento where form is always temporary, and control never absolute.
